Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today paid a courtesy call on Samdech Maha Rathsapheathika Thipadei Khuon Sudary, President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the sidelines of the 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP) in Phnom Penh. Dr. Kao congratulated Cambodia for hosting the 11th Plenary Session of IPTP and expressed appreciation for Cambodia’s contributions to the ASEAN Inter-Parliamentary Assembly (AIPA) as well as successful leadership in serving as the President of IPTP for 2023-2024. Both sides acknowledged the importance of maintaining efforts to promote greater regional understanding and tolerance in ASEAN and beyond.
