VANG VEING, 21 February 2024 – The 45th High-Level Task Force on ASEAN Economic Integration (HLTF-EI) convenes in Vang Vieng, Lao PDR today. The Meeting discusses strategic issues on regional economic integration, including on Priority Economic Deliverables under Lao PDR’s ASEAN Chairmanship, new and emerging issues in ASEAN Plus One Free Trade Agreements, and ASEAN’s sustainability initiatives.
The 45th HLTF-EI Meeting was preceded with the interfaces between the HLTF-EI with AEC Eminent Persons and Parliamentarians to gauge their insights and aspiration in the development of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) Post-2025 Agenda.
